Ted Iorio Arena at Walpole, MA

  • MAP

Take Massachusetts Route 128 South, and exit onto Interstate 95 South. Continue on I-95 South to Exit 9 (Wrentham, U.S. Route 1). Proceed South on Route One. (You will see signs to " Foxboro Stadium.") Go through the first set of lights (Old Post Road). The Iorio Arena is a gray & black rectangular building about 1 mile down Route 1 on the left-hand-side, set back from the highway. Proceed past the Arena. You will see a sign "Next Exit All Turns." Exit right onto Pine Street. Immediately turn left and then left again onto Route 1. As you proceed north on Route One, the rink entrance (marked by a red-lettered sign on a gray background) will now be on your right.

    Alternate directions on Game Nights:
From 95 South - Take Exit 8 (one exit past the regular exit, 9) off of 95 south and at the end of the ramp turn left onto South Main St.(headed toward Sharon Center). You will pass the Sharon Shopping Center on your right, West Cemetery, Mitchell St. and Laurel Rd all on your left. Take your next left after Laurel Rd onto South Walpole St. Follow South Walpole street (windy back road that will turn into Pine Street once you hit Walpole) for approximately 2 miles until you reach Rt. 1 (This is jug handle light just south of the rink). Take a right onto Rt. 1 and the rink will be on your right. Good luck. From 95 North - Same exit, turn right at the end of the ramp.

About 1/2 mile down the road, you'll see an entrance to Prospect Hill Park on the right. (On the opposite side of the street, you'll see the MDC Skating Rink.) Pull into the parking lot. We start stretching at 6:00pm at the base of Prospect Ski Hill. We will then work on balance drills, plyometrics, etc.

From Boston: Take 93 South to Rt 138 North, exit #2, marked Milton/Canton. Head on towards Milton. You will pass through a light with a Mobil station on the left; on the opposite corner is a pancake house/restaurant. Continue straight 1/4 mile or less until you see the signs for Blue Hills. Enter the first parking lot on the right hand side. (There is also a parking lot on the left, but ignore it.) The group meets at the base of the old skilift. If the first set of gates at the parking lot are closed, then proceed to the second gate on the right, enter there, and come back to the meeting place mentioned above (it's all one big parking lot). On the opposite side of the parking lot from the skilift is the Animal/Nature Museum. See you there at about 6:30pm.

Elm Bank, South Natick, MA

    (Summer Dry-Land Sessions Only)
    Here are some rough directions:
Elm Bank is in South Natick.....right on the Wellesley line on Rte. 16.
From the east....take Rt 16 west. You will pass the Wellesley College golf course. About 1 mile from there, you will see a large red barn (Hunnewell Farm) on the right....cute calfs and Moms.....it is right at the Natick line. On the left, directly across from the barn, is the entrance to Elm Bank and the Mass Horticultural Society, which is housed there.
From the west....take Rt 16 through South Natick Center. About a half a mile on the right is the entrance to Elm Bank.
From the south.....if you get onto Pleasant St. in Dover it will take you to South Natick Center. Take a right onto Rt. 16 at the lights. About a half a mile on the right is the entrance to Elm Bank.
If you go into the park and follow the road, you will see the grassy field on the left and a parking lot above that. Follow the road and park in the first lot on the left (at the top of the hill). I will meet people there. Once we start we should be visible on the field.
